Is there any way that the game could prevent you from finding a shiny?

I was hoping for a more indepht information. I read that the chance of finding a shiny is also dependent on a shiny frame or something. That is supposedly a combination of PID or SID and the result of the 1 in 8... chance... I read that a in gen 3 the internal battery may also hold a key to encounters. And a few other things... I was quite interested so i wanted to check with you.

I pride myself on being a very experiences player, but i sometimes want to ask... What could be a possibility to decide the chance of finding a shiny?
Can the problem be with a crappy ID/secret ID? I have been soft reseting for a shiny groudon now for a few days with no luck. It usually takes me a few hours 12/16 but this is one quite long.

Is that so? I find many memes to be pretty funny or something of that effect, but this one I just never got. It was just plain creepy. Even something stupid like 60s Spider-Man, though filled with profane thoughts and even developed an inside joke about the amount of F-vocabulary he gives, was still pretty funny at times.
