I actually have not thought about that. Stuff like that would be interesting, as Koreans are actually pretty good at maths. But I'm not sure about the kids in my school: they seem to struggle at even finding Volumes of a 3D shape.

I teach all from Kindergarten to 6th grade. Some of these kids actually seem to talk about Bureku and Hwhitu Kuremu (Korean phonetic way of saying Black/White Kyurem), particularly 3rd/4th graders who seem to know about it. Too bad I'm a genwunner, but I oddly know about all the new guys too :| But I don't think they would expect me to know anything about Pokemon.

Nice. You'd probably put it to use. The times I do come here nowadays I just remove random spam if I see it.

I'm just incredibly busy lately. Though I'd like to chat with people, there are indeed fewer people to talk with. Teaching at a primary school can be a bit tough, but it is a start.

Is there any way that the game could prevent you from finding a shiny?

I was hoping for a more indepht information. I read that the chance of finding a shiny is also dependent on a shiny frame or something. That is supposedly a combination of PID or SID and the result of the 1 in 8... chance... I read that a in gen 3 the internal battery may also hold a key to encounters. And a few other things... I was quite interested so i wanted to check with you.

I pride myself on being a very experiences player, but i sometimes want to ask... What could be a possibility to decide the chance of finding a shiny?
Can the problem be with a crappy ID/secret ID? I have been soft reseting for a shiny groudon now for a few days with no luck. It usually takes me a few hours 12/16 but this is one quite long.
