I'm having serious Jellicent troubles. Any suggestions that isn't Ferrothorn? Asides from that, this team suffers from serious speed problems.

Team here. If it were allowed in UU, it seems to work decently well. <-- (I had someone else play that other team otherwise the testing wouldn't work if you know what I mean). Otherwise, some of the OU beasts make this rather difficult. I'm thinking of converting Dragonite into Heal Bell/Thunder Wave/Dragon Tail mode, which seems proper, but that leads me to Blissey trouble and I lose Multiscale because Trollfreak doesn't want Dragonite nor Articuno to learn Heal Bell via tutor. How peculiar. Also from the looks of it, Rotom-W can cause trouble due to its typing.

Yeah... it is. I'm able to tell somehow (for instance the Abra line resembles Baphomet, Kadabra makes the Satanic salute and has Satanic S's in its stomach, remember how Unova looks like an All Seeing Eye, etc...). I'm starting to wonder where B2W2 is headed. Until I analyse everything completely, not saying anything else.

^--- you might be interested in reading this I suppose. It's the new changes that have occurred in B2W2. Many Pokemon are a lost cause... stupid Drill Run tutor doesn't teach a lot of Pokemon (but Rapidash learns it). Changes include Air Slash Mantine, Superpower Flygon, Sky Uppercut Gliscor (?), Serperior can be taught Dragon Pulse/Aqua Tail, etc...

Only playing with Lorshy at this time just because I don't feel like doing anything else.

Hopefully: there's also the electric counterpart to Absorb Bulb, but water moves are far more common and easier to switch in... had it not been for Scald or something of that like. At least Giga Drain is so much better now... SO MUCH. Focus Blast looks good for coverage, but it likes to miss a lot. It's really for Empoleon and Steels in general. Any suggestions?

Does Golurk work well as a lead? Sub set is fine and all, but usually I find it too fragile to even let it Sub up (you'd think with 89/80/80 it can take more hits than that...)

Speaking of which, I had this physical/special split patch for Emerald, and it royally messed up my Dragon Claw (then special)/Thunderpunch/Earthquake/Leaf Blade Sceptile with Timid nature, making it all physical. This thing's too hard to use, there has to be a proper way other than spamming Choiced Leaf Storm! I mean, that works the best in my opinion, but I'm trying to find other ways because people anticipate it.

But on the bright side, Azumarill is beast with STAB now and Gyarados's Waterfall works like a charm!

If only I played this game more often (I don't actually, it's been a month since I believe?)

I almost worked this successfully... until I got outpaced by a Volcarona and got owned. However, that time I had 0 Speed investment, relying on Absorb Bulb to work. Now I outpace Volcarona by default (and other + 100ers), even if Absorb Bulb isn't used. What sucks is that most bulky waters carry Scald, which has a chance of burning, and some also carry Ice Beam, making this too specialised. But when set up, on paper, it works really well... ON PAPER. I have yet to make this work though, and continually finding a way to improve it.

Um, I'm usually at PO's server. I haven't actually been on Smogon's server to be honest because it lagged me.

To be honest, they're not all that great of battlers. And their tiers are not in correspondence with Smogon's. Scrafty is UU there, for example (though I wouldn't contest that).

I did that Blastoise on OU twice: perma rain makes this beautiful, but so many Jellicents and stuff and things much over 78 base speed makes it really hard to pull off. I've only KOd 2 Pokemon on average with that Blastoise per battle: works well in UU but not as great in OU (what did you expect?)

Am I challenging people wrong? I click on random people and challenge them (I go by GeorgesSeurat or LePointillisme), and then there's people talking about rankings (both Fox and Lorshy mentions ratings to me). I must be noob, but I have no idea how to play a ranked battle?

Contrary Superpower Spinda ftw. I want to try it out, but PO said it's not allowed for some reason.



I wanted to try Swords Dance Skarmory with Broken Armour, but PO will not let me (this again). It sounds stupid, but it's quite fun in paper. I wish I had an opportunity to work it out. When a metagame goes crazy with damage, why not take a defensive monster and surprise them? It doesn't come with Brave Bird, but it comes with Drill Peck and Roost.

... I suppose it won't work, but... I'm still trying if PO updates that.
