Looking for Shiny Unova pokemon will trade any shiny for it

- Hypnosis
- Reflect

That is Noctowl's learnbase. Also if you are lucky (unlike me) you can get an Insomniac Noctowl... who will NOT fall asleep. But you will usually find it slowing you down... >.<

It is a cool Pokemon and all but not exactly meant for in-game... nor competitively. But in competitive battles I have actually been able to use it akin to a mini Blissey... and even walled Empoleon and Zapdos rather nicely (the latter though walled me in the end thanks to stupid Pressure, although Hypnosis can and will help). For a competitive Noctowl try breeding Night Shade to it.

Yes I have. It learns too many physical attacks for an owl that needs special attacks though. And it learns Roost late on. Look in DPP discussion and find that topic about me beating the E4. You will see there.

Actually, Team Rocket focuses more on Poison types than Galactic, so Noctowl may work well. It also takes special hits rather nicely and Reflect helps against physical attacks. Hypnosis is also a great support move. Noctowl is a support Pokemon more so than offensive... but in-game usually favors offense so it depends on how you want to play.
