need help makeing a competitive team.

Currently after realizing that my favourite pokemon just dont cut it in the real world,i decided to start the long path of makeing competitive teams however, i cant seem to find one that works. i either have the time of my life faceing a heatran that wont go down, or stuck faceing a zapdos that thunderbolts everything away (with help of a stealth rock)

i myself am not fond of using such pokemon (legendary pokemon like zapdos and heatran) can anyone help me set up a team??

Infernape
Gengar(might switch for dusknoir)
Salamance
Rhyperior(going to trade in for hippodown)
Forretress

Even without EV's and items, if you don't provide me with what each pokemon is going to do, I can't help you.

Gengar and Dusknoir are both ghosts, but they server incredibly different purposed.

Enkidu is correct. Without a description and specific roles for your pokemon then it is hard to help. If you want to give your pokemon roles I found Greencat's guide really helpful click here (http://www.projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?t=34) to go to it.

Thats a very... mixed team. Just listing Pokemon isn't enough to create a proper team. You also need to list what movesets they use, as well as which tier you intend on using the team in.
