<p><a target="_blank" rel="lightbox" href="http://projectpokemon.org/images/ppse_pokedex.png"><img src="http://projectpokemon.org/images/ppse_pokedex-s.png" title="PPSE Pokédex" alt="PPSE Pokédex" style="border: 1px solid #369; margin: 0 0 0 1.5em; float: right; clear: right; color: #369; font-size: 90%;"></a>For about a month, the Project Pokémon development team has been hard at work developing a save editor; one that will make Pokesav obsolete. Since then, the project has come a long way. Project Pokémon`s Save Editor (PPSE) now has support for Pokémon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum. In addition it offers editing support for Pokédex entries as well as the ability to rearrange and view your Party Pokémon and Storage Pokémon.</p><p><a target="_blank" rel="lightbox" href="http://projectpokemon.org/images/ppse_pokemon.png"><img src="http://projectpokemon.org/images/ppse_pokemon-s.png" title="PPSE Pokémon" alt="PPSE Pokémon" style="border: 1px solid #369; margin: 0 0 0 1.5em; float: right; clear: right; color: #369; font-size: 90%;"></a>PPSE offers all these features while maintaining a visually appealing user interface that is compatible with virtually any screen resolution. Finally, the development team, more specifically the main programmer Jiggy-Ninja, is proud to announce that the newest version of PPSE now includes AR code support for every single language of all fourth generation games! You can even choose which buttons you want to use to activate the AR code.</p><p>You can download PPSE by <a href="http://projectpokemon.org/editing/ppse.php" target="_blank">clicking here</a>. To use the program, you must exract all the files from the ZIP archive into the same folder and run PPSE.exe. Please post any bugs you find in the <a href="http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?p=42103" target="_blank">PPSE thread</a> with a detailed description of what exactly it was you did that led to the error.</p><p>Thanks for reading. You can expect to see Pokémon editing options soon for PPSE, so be sure to check back often!</p><p><strong>UPDATE:</strong> The contents of PPSE.zip have been replaced with a setup file that installs PPSE on your computer! That means all your SAV files will be automatically associated with PPSE after you install it.</p>

It's because it's not supported yet. Preferences to the features Pokesav lacked were given priority (Dex Editing and ARDS support) eventually it'll have .pkm editing support.

It says (Not functional) right on the label. I didn't put that there for show or to trick people, that feature is currently under development.

Does that mean that we won't have to convert SAV files from a flashcard to see them on PPSE?

wow great work, i can finally complete my international national pokedex (lol), i wouldnt go so far as to say its gonna make pokesav obsolete though (unless they stop making it available), its geared up for people who use emulators or flash carts, thats just how things like this work, so those of us using retail carts are gonna find it a bit lacking in the AR code department at the moment and not being able to load our saves into it seriously hinders its usefulness, but i guess thats the same with pokesav.
Conclusion - this is excellent but i need a flash cart...

No, it only means that any file with the *.sav extension will be assosiated with PPSE.

The removal of the working slot machines in Platinum says otherwise. =P
Granted that's something very minor, and probably shouldn't take more than a day to change, so there really is no excuse for the release difference. I personally would be complaining more about the time between the Japanese release and the US release. =P

Is PPSE going to have support for .DUC files from ARDSME's?

You could use this website to convert save files:
http://shunyweb.info/convert.php#
Or if PPSE can directly edit those other filetypes as well, that would be great :)..

That would be fantastic if you could. I'll need to look up the best way to do that, and I'll get back to you.
One of the advantages of Qt is that it has some built in ways of handling internationalization and translation, so there won't need to be multiple versions of PPSE in each language like there is with Pokesav.

Hi there, great work, but I could not use this with a retail cart save dump generated by Rudolph's NDS Backup Slot2 Tool (it dumps a 256kb save, prolly only the open save slot on cart). What type of save does the PPSE work at the moment? Thanks a lot =)

We know. A fixed version should be up soon.

So this is the Pokemod program (renamed, I guess) that was being talked about for the last little while?
This one's not supposed to leave "traces" of editing in the save file the way that Pokesav currently does, right?
Relyte

It does not do so on purpose, but no guarantees are made.

Yeah, of course. I've never actually used Pokesav on my retail game card's save (if I really want to edit a Pokemon I've captured, I'll usually dump the save, edit, run the save from my Cyclo and either deposit it to ranch or trade it to my other game... then withdraw or trade it back to the retail card it started on and release its original version)
I only ask because I've been wanting to tweak my retail game's list of already recieved mystery gift ID#'s (Platinum has a few that maybe shouldn't be in there, lol). Does the PPSE have this feature yet, or is it on the list of things to come? I'm not at home this weekend, so I can't install it to find out.

It will eventually, but it's not supported just yet.

The only traces that may be left are traces made by incomplete knowledge or bugs. We will leave no deliberate "THIS SAVE WAS HACKED BY PPSE!!!" traces.
And if you don't believe me, you can always peruse the source code yourself.

Hi there! I hace one question about PPSE:
What's the "Transfer" button for? On the Editing Pokemon section there is a place called "Transfer"... I wish it's for transfer Pokémon to Pal Park, but I don't know how to use it. Any help? Thanks a lot!! And good job with the PPSE, by the way :3

PS: I'm Spanish, so if you need some help to translate, just tell me!
