I downloaded the no$gba emulator to play pokemon platinum and part wy through the game it lagged out. so now i can't get any farther in the game. So I tried to use that emulator with a different pokemon platinum file. The emulator ran the pokemon platinum but will not use the save file I had in the other game. How do I make it use my save file?

What you will need to do is change the name of the save file to suite the new ROM.

for example my plat ROM is called 3541 - Pok+®mon Platinum (US).nds and so the save file is called 3541 - Pok+®mon Platinum (US).SAV

just try naming the sav to the exact name of the new rom and putting .SAV at the end.
