Interesting. And I have a question. Can your Korean versions go on Wifi with other people from different countries? I realize they are missing Korean characters in their versions because the Korean games came out later than the others.

No; Korean games and pokemon can have no interaction whatsoever with any pokemon games of a different region. Its because of the strict government regulations in North Korea.

I highly doubt the games ever made contact with North Korea. These games are shipped to South Korea, which is a Republic. North Korea is a dictatorship.

The problem of character must come from the release date of the game ...

Although my reasoning may be wrong (it was assumed), I would like to confirm that Korean games can only interact with other Korean games, and furthermore, Nintendo of Korea events can only be given to Korean games.

It's 100% confirmed that D/P Korean cannot interact, in any way, with non-Korean games in any legal fashion.

And unless Korean data (for the language) was added to the Japanese release, I doubt Korean Plat has data for other languages.

Nintendo has no presence in North Korea.

The restriction on interaction between Korean games and other region games is likely due to the fact that the other games cannot display Korean characters. Even if you import a Korean PKM file into another region game, it will display gibberish.

The Nintendo of Korea has revealed that the site for pokemon platinum will be revealed on June 19th. More information will be given then...

More info found. Sky Form will be called: 스카이 폼, Land Form will be called: 랜드 폼

As I posted before shaymins two forms will be sky form:스카이 폼 land form: 랜드 폼 Giratina's Origin form: 오리진 폼 Giratina's another form: 어너더 폼

More information discovered. In the Korean Version, you may migrate pokemon from other languages. You can migrate a japnese suicune from firered(example) However, they will appear in Korean languages.

It means that the Korean Version had other language information. Other countries didn't have info about Korean. Means that Korean blocked trading near the end of making due to language

Important Update!!!
I apoligize it's july 3rd. I finally got some time. (about 30 minutes)
The Platinum Special site has opened site below.

lots of information was revealed.
The name of the ICC police officer's name is "Handsome" like the japanese version.
You will recieve the Origin Form figure, however you need to have the ticket downloaded and buy the pokemon platinum game at the same time in Shin Sae Gae Department store in Kangnam. (on July 2nd ~ July 8th)
The secret key will also be available for download at the department store I mentioned above on July 2nd.
Finally, Nok will be give out Feebas(빈티나- Bin TEE Na) and Munchlax(먹고자- Muk Go Ja). You can recieve these two pokemon in any of the games.(Diamond, Pearl, Platinum)

More info!!! Korean games can trade with japanese versions. My friend has a flash cart and I discovered that all the pokemon (EVENT) has the same hidden values as other languageS

hey, the fact that you could pal park any region's gba game with korean pokemon has been know for a long time, well i mean, longer than when you posted it.
since it is not fair for south koreans, since they don't have their own region of gba pokemon games.

Oh! I just saw a Koream Pokemon Platinum commerical in TV. I was watching a channel specifically designed for showing progamers playing 'Starcraft' [It is a old strategy game if you don't know what it is] against one another.

I might be able to get the Shaymin in Korea...(I wonder why anyone would want it though, you have to be really lucky<I begged to get an Korean Manaphy on my U.S. Diamond Version>or you have to cheat. You can't trade Korean Versions to other languages. And Where can I buy a flash cart???

Yes, R4s are very popular (but no longer made) flashcarts.

What you do depends on what you want do do... You probably want to back up your saves, right? That's one thing you can do. You can also play ROMs of your games with your backup-up save, it works just like a real game, but you can carry around a bunch at once. =)

I'm sorry I was on a trip. I'll post again starting now. First up, Pokemon movie 12 has been officialy announced by the website. It will be shown in the theaters for the first time.(other movies were first shown in TV channels) According to the website, there will be a special surprise. I expect it to be pichu and arceus.
