Snivey causing game to freeze after hatching?

I created a contrary Snivy egg in the last slot of Box 16; female, has a few moves, IV'd for Hidden Power Ice, etc... When I pull it out and hatch it, going to look at the pokemon's information will cause the game to freeze and crash every time, so I released it.

Is there a way around this? Will I receive this problem if I just put the POKEMON itself in the box rather than the egg?

O_o Snivy's, when an egg, Nickname has to be Egg\FFFFy\FFFF\0000\0000\0000\0000\FFFF and the check box has to be checked. Egg's cannot hold items. You didn't set an Origin. The Location, Ball, and Encounter was wrong. The only move that Snivy can possibly know is Twister. Leaf storm, Hidden Power, and Giga Drain are TM's and moves you learn when you level up. At least put the ID, SID, and OT to be on the safe side. When it hatch's, the ID, SID, and the OT will be set to your ID, SID, OT. Snivy has a DW ability so 0x42 will be 1. I checked all of this in PokeGen.

I fixed everything. I also changed the PID to match it's new ID and SID.
*NOTE!!! Just so you know, when it hatch's and gets your TID and SID, the A(s) in AAAXAYY has to match your TID's and SID's Binary code which is 01011101010010011010100000000111 to get the Snivy to become shiny so putting a shiny Snivy egg is kind of useless. Here's the code:

Taizen wasn't asking for a legality check, nor is that permitted any longer here. He/she was asking why it was freezing the game. "Legality" garbage doesn't cause freezes.

I personally have no idea what could cause that, at least regarding the actual Pokemon data.

Thanks for the help!!! I'm not too worried about how legitimate it looks; considering I am only using it ingame, and with friends; not over wifi.

I appreciate all the words of advice, and will take everything stated into my mind. I think I am going to just create a level one Snivy NOT in an egg; considering it seems like "bad" eggs are what really messes the game up.
