I know you can replace Sprites in Shoddy, as detailed in Wraith's guide here (http://projectpokemon.org/forums/showthread.php?4133-Replacing-Sprites-on-Shoddy-Battle), but I want to know if you can in Pokemon Online and if so, how.

You probably cannot. It is a bundle file that is in the installation folder. However, you CAN change the music and a few icons (the user rank pokeballs - however only you will be able to see them.)

All the necessary pictures are actually inside that one ZIP file. You will have to individually replace each pictures by dragging them into the ZIP I suppose, depending on your compression file client. For example, my ZIP file is located in:

C: \ Users \ KingsAndQueens \ Pokemon Online \ db \ pokes \ poke_img.zip

The folder db, I assume, stands for Database. The pokes folder within the db is full of stuff that you ought to not mess with (the text files for example), but poke_img is there and it is HUGE. That is where the pictures are stored. Mind you, there are individual versions for Gen III, Gen IV and Gen V. Copy its format and you should be able to make it the way you want it to.

EDIT: There's also a ZIP called black_white.zip. If you are playing Gen V, modify THOSE sprites instead.

And as Mewtwo EX says, you are the only one who are able to witness the changes. Hmmm... I think I might start a little project and replace some of my sprites.

Sweet, thanks Wraith! More complicated than Shoddy but still fairly simple. Thanks again.

BTW, if you're playing Gen 3/4 will you still be able to see Pokemon from later Gen's? E.g. Playing Gen 3, can you see Pokemon from Gen 4/5? Or will the Pokemon from Gen 3 and before sprites just be different?
